A Fresh Look at Local Life 街の日常に、新しい出会いをひらく

街を知ることは、いつもの毎日を少し好きになること。センター北の商業施設が一堂に会し、2012年にスタートしたタウン誌『Garden & 北の丸食堂』。タイドデザインは創刊時から、アートディレクションとデザインを長年にわたり担当しています。誌名のネーミング、ロゴ制作、企画編集会議への参加まで、媒体の立ち上げから深く関わってきました。表紙にはetoさんをはじめ、多彩なイラストレーターを起用。それぞれの作家の個性を生かし、季節ごとに新鮮な表情を届けています。『Garden』では、ファッションや生活雑貨を通じて、暮らしを豊かにするライフスタイルを提案。『北の丸食堂』では、各施設のレストランやカフェなどと食のイベントを企画し、街の楽しみ方を広げています。2021年春号では、横浜市電保存館にご協力いただき、ミニチュアの線路沿いに手作りの桜並木を配して、春の風景を演出。イラストレーションに加え、手仕事ならではの温もりも誌面に取り入れました。施設や店舗の魅力を、一つの街の楽しさとして届けること。ページをめくる時間から、街を歩く時間へ。暮らしと食を入り口に、地域の日常に新しい発見と出会いをひらくタウン誌です。

Launched in 2012 by commercial facilities in Center-Kita, “Garden & Kitanomaru Shokudo” is a local magazine whose art direction and design we have led since its inception. Our involvement spans naming, logo design, cover illustrator selection and editorial planning. Garden explores fashion, homeware and everyday living, while Kitanomaru Shokudo brings food to life through events planned with local restaurants and cafés. With approachable illustration and clear editorial design, we aim to connect each venue’s appeal to the wider experience of the neighborhood—inviting readers to step off the page and discover the streets around them.
